If you are interested in a winter sports holiday where you can combine a language study trip with skiing, snowboarding and cross-country, Experience Slovakia may be just what you are looking for.  We offer an exciting mix of study and snow sports. You can choose from studying in the morning and having winter sports in the afternoon, or the other way around. If you prefer to organise just a skiing holiday full of fun activities, we can also do it for you!  In winter people can visit an ice church in Hrebienok, go dog sledding, go on a horse sleigh, ice skating, relax in hot water springs and go sledding down the hill in the High Tatras.

If you are already an expert in skiing or if you are just a beginner, this is the holiday for you. We will help you with your ski pass as well as arranging a private or group ski instructor for you.

 

The High Tatras is the main destination for those who want to go skiing in Slovakia. The ski areas in Tatranská Lomnica, Starý Smokovec and Štrbské Pleso deliver 24 km of pistes and 60 km of Nordic ski trails to skiers. A diverse range of accompanying social activities and relaxation offered at the nearby aqua park in Poprad ensure a rich overall experience. You can choose from staying at accommodation within walking distance from the ski slopes, or if you would rather stay in the city, Poprad is just 15 minutes away from the ski resorts by car.
