1. Skiing & snowboarding

We will take you to Štrbské Pleso, known for its scenic beauty and cross- country skiing trails. We can organise your skiing trip to Tatranská Lomnica which is one of the highest-altitude resorts in Slovakia, with amazing views of the High Tatras. Speak to us to learn how to get students' ski passes at better prices.

2. Dog Sledging & snowshoeing

   Experience a dog sledging ride through snowy forests in the High Tatras.

   Try snowshoeing in places like the Slovak Paradise National Park or the Tatras for a peaceful winter hike. We have great deals for bigger groups.

   
   

3. Ice skating & ice climbing

   Enjoy the frozen mountain lakes like Štrbské Pleso, and ice skating in Poprad. Climbing is popular on frozen waterfalls in the Slovak Paradise National Park and High Tatras. Our local accredited tour guide, who speaks fluent English, will take you to the best routes.

   
   

4. Thermal baths and wellness

   The schools that plan their trips with us normally enjoy a visit to AquaCity Poprad, a modern wellness centre with geothermal pools. We offer special prices for school groups.

   
   

5. Christmas Markets & winter festivals

   We can organise a visit to Poprad's Christmas Market or the Christmas Market in High Tatras for traditional Slovak food and crafts. Other activities are also available on demand, such as visiting a local farm or volunteering at a National Park.

   
   

6. Winter hiking & sightseeing

   Explore with us the frozen waterfalls and gorges of Slovak Paradise National Park, or visit the snow-covered Spis Castle, one of the largest castles in Europe. We will organise transport to the places which are not so easily accessible by public transport.

We welcomed the American School of Warsaw in the High Tatras this winter, and the students had a wonderful time with us. The school chose a personalised programme that Experience Slovakia designed for them based on their interests. A special evening was requested with a barbecue and a fireplace outdoors. Private accommodation was also booked, giving the students and teachers privacy and comfort during their stay.
